4. Old Sumo Ring Pavilion

Built in the 1960s to house local sumo tournaments, the feature's floor was cemented in 1999-2000. It houses a large wooden picnic table, the only one in the Japanese landscape. Use of the pavilion is on a first-come-first-served basis. Current regular uses include yoga classes, family gatherings, and Sunday services. Occasionally the pavilion is reserved as part of a whole park rental by community organizations such as the Alzheimer's Association.
