Hawaiian Nene Goose
The Hawaiian Nene Goose, only found in Hawaiʻi, is an endangered species. Branta sandvicensis or Nene are endemic to Hawai`i and are adapted to land life. They nest and raise their young in Liliʻuokalani Gardens. It is important not to disturb a nesting pair. It also is important to NOT FEED them. Nene forage for food in the park.
