Birds of Liliʻuokalani Gardens

Various species of both native Hawaiian and introduced birds live in Liliʻuokalani Gardens. Some of the most often seen native Hawaiian birds seen in the Garden are the nene goose, ʻIo hawk, ‘ūlili (shoreline) and kōlea. Other commonly seen birds are doves, ducks, mejiro, wandering tattler, ruddy turnstone, and yellow billed cardinal.
